I an just an average American. A husband, a father, and a Christian. I work very hard for my wages, take sidework when I can, and we, like many others live pay check to paycheck. We are proud and we dearly love our country. And as the election approaches, for me, there is not a single instance where I could, in good conscience, cast my vote for Barack Obama. It is not because he is a Democrat, and I am a Republican. Nor is it because he has liberal views and mine tend to be more conservative. And it is not because he is Black, because there are several African American conservatives I would very happily support. To be truthful, I cannot vote for, or support Barack Obama because I believe him to be a dishonest, unqualified, and very deceitful man. 

 

How can I put my faith and trust in a man who has kept his past from those who would vote for him. He has worked feverishly throughout the campaign to prevent anyone from really knowing who he is as a man, and what accomplishments and failures have brought him to this point in life. Simple things, his birth records, school records, and legislative records are off limits. Using legal tactics and intimidation to prevent their release, he most certainly comes off as someone who has much to hide. How can you judge a candidate you know so little about?

 

I cannot understand his total lack of judgement concerning the people he has chosen to associate and align himself with. William Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko,and Rashid Khalidi. These are not good people. They are not kind and decent people. They are radical social misfits. They are not the type of people most Americans would ever associate with, or open their homes to. What damage could a president Obama do to this country should radicals such as these have his ear and further influence his heart and ideals.

 

I certainly cannot support a man who feels that the wealth and earnings of any citizen is somehow the property of the government, that it can be taxed and redistributed at will for the common good. I refuse to accept the concept that taking hard earned money from me, and others like me, and giving it to someone who either lacks my work ethic, or the desire to better themselves beyond the receiving of government help, is any manner of right. History shows that every major government program to help the disadvantaged people of this country has ended in failure, and created a segment of society that is addicted to government assistance, often over several generations of the family.. The War on Poverty failed miserably. And Barack Obama plainly doesnot understand that more money will never be the answer. Left alone, and to their abundant charity, the American people will always  solve the problems of the poor better that the government ever could.

 

And finally, I cannot tolerate the views of a candidate who maintains and promotes such utterly rabid views on abortion. Barack Obama does not accept the sanctity of life. He is a morally cripple if on one hand he can lovingly raise his own two daughters, but on the other hand can find it acceptable to allow the surviving child of a botched abortion attempt to lie unattended and uncared for until that child either starves or dies from the injuries of the procedure. That child is a living breathing human being deserving of the rights and protections we all are guaranteed. If he can be so merciless, cold and uncaring to the smallest and most innocent among us, I believe it is a small leap for him to condone the same to the oldest and most frail if in some perverted way he feels it serves the greater good.

 

It is truly a national tragedy that this nations political system has become so dysfunctional, and our nation's moral compass so out of whack, that an unqualified candidate like Barack Obama could be the best that the Democratic side has to offer. He may well win November 4th, and it is my belief that he will carry this country along with the liberal lemmings who elected him over the cliff.

 

As for me.....I believe him to be a vile, flawed, dishonest and deceitful man......dangerous, morally bankrupt, a social misfit, in no way deserving of the presidency. My one vote will be to say  HELL NO TO OBAMA.......and I humbly that pray that there will be enough right thinking Americans who will agree with me and prevent this man from becoming president.
